Bharathi Singh is the Founder and Chief of an NGO, SA-MUDRA FOUNDATION working for youth empowerment with a core objective of preventing suicidal tendencies and save youngsters from straining into anti social activities. Helping youth to handle failures through preventive and curative stages of life by imparting informal educational initiatives like counseling, life skills, livelihood skills training and employment enablement to unemployed, underemployed, not employable youth coming from rural and semi urban economically weaker communities, including the migrants. Bharathi Singh is a sort after Youth counselor who has offered individual ( both telephonic and face to face) counseling to over 5000 students & parents in 20 years on issues like Educational confusions, Exam preparedness, Career guidance, personal crisis, suicidal tendencies. She has conducted 1900+ soft skills Training sessions on Team dynamics, Relationship Management, Responsible Parenting, Public speaking skills, Effective Communication, Creativity & Critical Thinking, Employment enablement skills like Interview, Resume, Group discussions etc. to Youth, Students, Parents, Teachers, Trainers, Counselors, NGOs and Corporate employees. Bharathi Singh is preferred resource person on local television channels to offer inputs on youth wellness & personality development issues.

Considering the increasing number of youth committing suicides in Bangalore, she started LOVE-LIFE campaign to control and prevent loss of young lives through creative awareness drives like street plays, seminars and workshops, literature distribution among public including the social media. ‘Depressionaasura’ & ‘Aaradirali Belaku’ Kannada plays scripted out of sa-mudra cases histories staged in schools & colleges across Bangalore is most appreciated medium of sensitization to save precious young lives..SA-MUDRA YUVA HELPLINE which is her brain child has been offering free counseling to youth on adolescent issues. A trained team of student advisers offer free guidance on exam preparedness, fear, stress anxiety. Hundreds of students call from across India. Bharathi Singh has impacted 1,34, 000 people through various initiatives. Her commitment and exemplary services towards youth empowerment has earned Regional, National, International recognition

Bharathi Singh is a self made, well read, well travelled development professional with sincere commitment towards the cause of youth wellness and empowerment. especially prevention of suicides and saving younger generation. She has voiced her concern through media and other public platforms. Her dynamism and excellence was applauded in the House of Commons, British Parliament after her presentation on ‘ Indian youth and their multiple challenges’ at the British South India Council of Commerce.
